This wine bar and restaurant’s workforce is made up of genuine Italian team members who are passionate about Sardinian food and culture, which is clearly reflected in the high quality of the food and service they provide.

Sardus wanted a high-quality Italian oven to cook their range of dishes to ensure their Sardinian concept was consistent throughout their operation. They therefore selected the stunning Michelangelo electric oven to take centre stage in their open plan kitchen.

The Michelangelo is Sardus’ sole oven and is used to cook every dish on their menu. This oven’s precise controllability makes it perfectly suited to meet this challenge- it’s digital temperature control system enables Sardus’ chefs to individually control the top and bottom element of each deck with 0%- 100% power and thereby cook their variety of dishes simultaneously.

Sardus use the Michelangelo to cook Romana style pizzas, their most popular being the Gennargentu, a delicious Sardinian pizza topped with mozzarella, tomatoes, Sardinian ham, rocket & aged pecorino. This highly productive operation can serve 90 covers in a day and even offers a takeout service.
