For a long time, it wasn’t as simple as one mixer for any kind of catering operation. Softer, creamier foods, such as mash and condiments, were best stirred to perfection by the gentler motor of a planetary mixer while thick and heavy dough could only be swirled into submission by a heavy-duty specialised dough mixer. Switch up this status quo and disaster was sure to ensue- the planetary mixer’s light-weight build cannot cope when up against amass of dense, low hydration dough and eventually the motor throws in the towel, resulting in panicked calls to our Service Department!

Hand crafted in Italy to the highest specification, it features an electronic control panel with eight different mixing speeds which allows perfectionist chefs the utmost control over the finished product. Its three different attachments (a dough hook, a flat beater and a twin whisk) each achieve a different effect, making this machine ideal for operations with a varied offering. Its durable construction and powerful motor can amalgamate the densest dough all on just a 13-amp plug!
Fabio would never promote a product’s versatility to our customers without putting it through his own rigorous testing procedures. He hunkered down in our demo kitchen and got experimental, putting the Multi-function Mixer through its paces with the ingredients for meringue, dough and vegan mayonnaise.
