Your living flame dome oven was a huge investment and is undoubtedly the beating heart of your catering operation. 1)     They must be Gas Safe registered.

The Gas Safe register started its life as the Corgi register, and it is the UK’s official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work legally on gas appliances. The gas in a living flame oven can be harmful if inhaled and incorrectly installed gas equipment can be incredibly dangerous, so it’s vital it is worked on by a highly trained and accredited engineer. 2)     They must be experts in dome ovens.

You wouldn’t want someone to perform a check up on you if they hadn’t trained as a doctor for many years. The same goes for your dome oven! These ovens are highly intricate and are best serviced and repaired by someone with plentiful prior experience and knowledge in areas such as DEFRA approval, cleaning procedures and correct operation. 3)     They must have quick response times.
